Helping Young Children to Listen

Learning to listen is more difficult than it has ever been, especially when the pace of life is so rapid and background noise is a near constant accompaniment. Yet without the ability to listen effectively, children will be disadvantaged as learners. This updated edition of one of our most popular resources, contains 40 revised games (30pp), all of which are designed to develop listening, concentration and attention skills in exciting and innovative ways. Quick to set up, fun to play and flexible enough to be enjoyed by different-sized groups and abilities.

The games and activities in Helping Young Children to Listen are led by Lola, the soft-toy Leopard (14cm), who captures children’s imaginations and shows them what it means to listen and be listened to.

How long will delivery take?

Resources will usually arrive within five working days. Small orders are sent via Royal Mail and large items will be despatched by courier.

What is your delivery charge?

For deliveries to UK mainland delivery is FREE for all orders £100 or over (ex VAT). Delivery is charged at £5.95 ex VAT (£7.14 including VAT) for orders less than £100.
